Access to Independence participated in several design activities, and assisted with disability-community engagement to enhance user input.
Once the initial designs were completed, Access to Independence reviewed the plans and provided recommendations to improve accessibility of the new park shelter, paths of travel, and park amenities. Access to Independence also provided advocacy support for the project.
