Madison Public Library

Accessibility consultation services for the design of their new campus office building
Picture

ADDRESS OF BUILDING

The Madison Public Library sought accessibility consultation services from Access to Independence, to review their public meeting spaces, and self-service stations, at several of their branch locations. Access to Independence was able to do a review and provide recommendations related to the physical spaces, assistance provided by staff and volunteers, and the technologies used for self-services. In addition to accessibility consultation, Access to Independence has experience related to finding assistive technology solutions.

"Their consultants were great to work with, and delivered a thorough analysis that we find extremely valuable.”

“The accessibility assessment of six Library locations performed by Access to Independence will inform our future facility development, including the Imagination Center at Reindahl Park. Access to our services for all members of the community is at the forefront of our mission, and the expertise Access to Independence provided is unique. Their consultants were great to work with, and delivered a thorough analysis that we find extremely valuable.”

-Mark E. Benno, Library Facilities Manager
