Madison Public Library

Accessibility Consultation Services for
improving accessibility of library technology and services
A photograph of the outside of the Sequoya Library in Madison, WI

The Madison Public Library sought accessibility consultation services from Access to Independence, to review their public meeting spaces, and self-service stations, at several of their branch locations. Access to Independence was able to do a review and provide recommendations related to the physical spaces, assistance provided by staff and volunteers, and the technologies used for self-services. In addition to accessibility consultation, Access to Independence has experience related to finding assistive technology solutions.
