Sarah's Story

Board Member
Sarah grew up in Green County, Wisconsin and moved to Madison to attend Edgewood College.  Sarah earned her B.A. from Edgewood College and her J.D. from Marquette University Law School.

A long time down town Madison resident, Sarah serves on several non-profit boards, is a frequent speaker at legal education seminars, and serves as guest faculty at the University of Wisconsin – Madison Law School.

As part of her law practice, Sarah works with many individuals with disabilities.  She presently is a trust officer and attorney with Wealth Enhancement Trust Services where she administers many legal and financial plans built to service people with disabilities.

In addition to Access to Independence, Sarah has served on The Arc Dane County board since 2016.  Through service with both organizations she has greatly increased her understanding and awareness of disability culture and community and looks forward continuing to grow as an advocate and ally.
