How Does it Work?
1Artists with disabilities from all across Wisconsin submitted up to two works of art via an electronic application from July through September of 2020. |
2Three jurors from the Madison Museum of Art and the Monroe Street Arts Center worked to deliberate which 12 works of art would be selected to win $200 These works of art will be featured in our 2021 Artists Beyond Boundaries calendar! |
3On October 8th, 2020, we hosted a live-stream fundraiser and gala on Facebook announcing which 12 artists have won awards! This live-stream event also serves as a fundraiser for our agency. All money raised will go toward the programs and services that we provide to the people we serve! |
4From October 8th though October 15th, we asked YOU to vote for the 13th and final winner! This year's People's choice award was completed virtually! The winner of this award will have their artwork featured on the calendar cover, and they will also receive $200! |
Meet the Jurors!
They had the seemingly impossible task of narrowing down the over 60 works of art we received, to the top 12!

I lived in the Milwaukee area till 5 years ago when we moved to Stoughton to be near our grandchildren , 6 and 9. I taught art to gr K- 5 for 25 years. I went to 4 different buildings and saw a lot of kids every week. I love children’s art because it is so uninhibited and joyful. I know all people can make art and it is all valuable and beautiful |
