Shirley's Story

Independent Living Specialist 

I’ve always had a passion for assisting and taking care of individuals with disabilities. I have spent many years as a caregiver and advocate in group homes that serve the needs for individuals with developmental disabilities. I briefly left that role and followed a different career path only to realize that is not where my heart is at so that lead me here, where I am so happy to be in a position of assisting people who need help again.
A little about me, I am a huge animal lover, in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy going to flea markets and estate sales to see what kind of treasures I can find to fix up. I am currently teaching myself how to crochet, wish me luck!
