Bryant's Story

Board Member
Bryant Ray, J.D., is an Assistant Vice President, Trust Officer, for the Bank of Sun Prairie. A native to Wisconsin, Bryant grew up in Mineral Point and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for his undergraduate degree and the University of Wisconsin Law School. During his time in law school, Bryant was a member of both the Public Interest Law Foundation (“PILF”) and the Legal Assistance for Disaster Relief organization (“LADR”). He later became the Race Judicata Chair for PILF, in which position he organized a fundraiser to aid PILF. Additionally, he became a co-president for LADR, in which position he organized the annual trip for University of Wisconsin Law School students to travel to New Orleans and provide pro bono services.
Following graduating from law school, Bryant was in private practice for four and a half years. For the first two years, he worked at the Consigny Law Firm, S.C., in Janesville, Wisconsin. In the latter two and a half years, he practiced at Zerbst & Kluck, S.C., in Madison, Wisconsin. While in private practice, Bryant worked in various areas of the law, including guardianships, probate, and estate planning.
Bryant comes from a family dedicated to helping those in his community and his past work as an attorney affords him the experience to advocate for those in need. He looks forward to serving on the Board of Access to Independence to help extend its reach assist those in need.
