Greg's StoryBoard Member | Treasurer
Greg was born and raised in Menominee Michigan. He has a congenital optic nerve disorder that left him vision impaired. He moved to Green Bay to go to UW-Green Bay and met his wife of 40+ years in his very first class there. Greg’s career started as a house parent for developmentally disabled men and then he moved to being a nursing assistant on an alcohol and drug abuse unit. While working on that unit he also attended UW-Oshkosh and earned a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. After a brief stint working as a social worker in a prison based pre-release drug abuse unit Greg returned to UW-Green Bay as a licensed professional counselor in their Counseling and Health Center. Greg had a long career at UW-Green Bay and retired in 2018. Greg and his wife moved to Madison in 2019 to be closer to family. Greg enjoys walking, biking, reading and playing with his grandkids. He hopes his experience with mental health conditions, alcohol and drug abuse and his lived experience as a vision impaired person help him to be a positive and productive board member. |
