An artist statement is required for all participants – a support person may assist in completing artist statement.
What Happens after I submit my application?
A panel of jurors will deliberate which 12 pieces will be awarded cash prizes. On October 8th, a live stream gala and fundraiser will feature all artwork submitted to the event, and will announce which of the 12 pieces won this year's competition. There will also be a “People’s Choice” award determined by votes from the audience. The People's Choice award will receive a cash prize (TBD) and will be featured on the cover of the calendar.
Is there a cost to register for the live stream event?
No. This year’s event is free to attend! All donations made during the live stream will go toward our goal of raising $3,000 so that Access to Independence may continue to grow this unique fundraiser!
The registration form to attend the event will appear on our website in mid August!
This is a really different process from years past - Why the change?
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our Board of Directors and management team have decided that a virtual format would be the safest way to host this year’s fundraising event.
