Christina Burzinski has called Madison home for almost 30 years now, moving from Kentucky in the early ‘90s. Helping others and giving back to the community in which she lives has always been a passion for her. Growing up, Christina volunteered with her church regularly and helped chaperone a trip to Raleigh County, WV to work with the Appalachian Service Project. Ever since her daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age two, Christina has been a fierce advocate for her and others who struggle obtaining services today. She attended Luther College and Madison College from 2001-2004 studying Religion and Communications, and in May 2020 received her Associates Degree from Madison College in Business Management. Christina has almost 14 years of experience working for local non-profits, and currently works as the Parish Administrator for Grace Episcopal Church. She is excited to be joining the Board of Directors at Access to Independence, to learn how she can be a more effective advocate and ally to those in need. |
