Amelia's Story

​Independent Living Specialist 

Amelia Rose Hoppe (She/They) Joined Access to Independence in February of 2022 as an Independent Living Specialist. She hopes to draw from her own lived experience with disabilities as well as her experience in Information Technology, especially when it comes to assistive technology! She has previously served up assistive technology on a volunteer basis throughout the greater Madison community and she is ecstatic to be able to assist full time.


In their free time they love local live music, hiking, meditation, and is always attempting a new creative medium. They have lived in Madison most their life and is passionate about making all spaces accessible and equitable.
