Through our programs we offer information, advocacy, and recreation to youth with disabilities. This in turn enables youth to develop self-confidence, independence, and enhance their abilities to be strong and productive participants in their community.
Wheelchair Hockey
Regardless of ability, you are a star on the ice! With the generous assistance from the UW Women's Hockey Team, we zip around the ice and have lot's of fun!
The team is a recreational hockey team that is open to any youth who uses a power or manual wheelchair. Please call for more information or stop by and watch a game!
Sports Challenge
A weekend of sports, games and a little competition is fun for everyone.
Our very own competitive basketball team
If you haven't seen wheelchair basketball, come to one of our tournaments or practices, and we'll change the way you think of the word "disability".This is a very competitive team which has placed in many of the tournaments they have attended. Sanctioned by the National Wheelchair Basketball Association, many of our players, regardless of ability, move on to play college level basketball! Click our logo to visit us on the web.
Wisconsin Youth First! The first-of-its-kind website developed by youth, for youth! This website was created so we had one place to go to get all the info we needed about school, work, and leadership activities.
It’s also a place for youth from all over the state to connect using Google Groups. We hope you like the website and come back often. Let us know what you think! Click on the banner above to visit the website.
