_The next WI Peer Specialist Certification Exam will take place on February 29, 2012. The exams will again be proctored at the WI Independent Living Centers www.IL-Wisconsin.net .

The deadline to apply to take the exam is February 15, 2012. Please download the application at: www.sce-peerspecialist.uwm.edu

Future of Long Term Care in Dane County

Join us for a community forum to discuss the future of Long Term Care in Dane County.

Wisconsin is changing the way Long Term Care Services are provided, and this could mean a big change for residents in Madison and the surrounding area.  Counties around the state are beginning  the transition to Family Care and IRIS,  two new programs that will change the way services are being provided to people with Developmental Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, and Frail Elders. Dane County will be making some big decisions soon.
