Please read the following proposal from the Wisconsin Medical Society and article taken from the Wisconsin State Journal.  This letter writing campaign is of the utmost importance to protect wonderful State programs that allow people with disabilities and whom are elderly to stay with their loved ones.  Others are voicing their opinions; it’s time we speak up for ourselves.  Write a letter to your legislators telling them you want to live in the community!

Mark Your Calendars = January 12, 2011 Is the date.

Please Read, Spread the word and Participate!!  Let's be proactive rather than reactive!  It's up to all of us, as Dodge County residents, to make sure every individual and our loved ones have a voice in the decisions that will plague our newly elected government officials.  This is an easy way to become involved and do whatever we can to protect the funding for those who truly are in need.  Form letters will be provided.  Bring your own stories to add.  Volunteers will be available to help you type up your letters if you need assistance.

PS.  The Dodge County Action Net Chapter meets the second Tuesday of every month at Beaver Dam Library at 5:30 pm.  Keep up with local concerns by attending--we hope to accomplish a lot and have fun doing what we need done!!  Join Us!!  Of course there is always an exception--January's meeting will be held on January 18th instead of the 11th!
